One of the things that I like the most but that cost me the hardest is skin care. It's a love-hate relationship that, thankfully, is becoming less and less toxic.
The key for me has been to take it more calmly, being aware that if I don't do it one day, nothing will happen. That, and also finding products that are a visual and sensory joy.

A minimal face cream
I started my skin care routine 5 years ago but, since then, I've had times when I've missed many days (ok, months). And, for a while now, my skin has been feeling a little bad. I got red spots and it felt tight.
I think, and fortunately this is happening less and less, we men don't take our skin seriously because it's a 'girly' thing. You don't talk to other men about creams and you almost buy them on the sly.
But it had to change, and it’s actually changing. And because I want to lead by example, here you have the main product of my skin care routine: the face cream.
This one by mid/night cosmetics is perfect to use before going to sleep, as it has a soft scent and does not leave your skin too heavy. Also the packaging is minimalist and calm.
A refreshing body balm
Another very necessary product in your routine is body balm. It moisturizes and nourishes in depth, provides elasticity and soothes irritations and itching. Trust me, your skin will glow after this one.
It smells like earth in a rainy day and it’s made from natural ingredients that will take care of your skin. It doesn’t feel heavy and the color is soooo pretty :)
A crafted beard oil
You, who love your beard, need this oil. A hard and unkempt beard is very irritating and it’s not easy to find a good product that suites you. But this one really works. Your beard will be smooth and soft. But don’t worry, you won't look any less tough as a man.
The recipe is a marvel: the classic freshness of bergamot and lavender edged with the coolness of violet notes and tonka bean.
A full anti-acne routine
When I was a kid, I remember everyone was concerned about acne. Even those of us who didn't have it, slept in fear of waking up the next morning with it. I recall my friends being sad because they could not find a remedy for their acne.
